QA Tester

We are looking for experienced QA Testers as well as fresh graduates who are eager to learn and quickly progress in the new role. Being the QA Tester is challenging and demanding at the same time. Just because - Making printers sexier, slimmer and divine is easy - said no one ever. But we say, it is fun, and it is worth the effort!

As a QA Tester in MyQ, you will work as part of the Quality Assurance team to ensure quality of the produced code. This is not about web testing. We develop a first-class printing and document management solution called MyQ that changes the way companies think about printers and document flows. The role of the QA Tester in MyQ is crucial as you will work with the developers to find out the root cause of issues.

Responsibilities

• Report bugs to developers with steps to reproduce them
• Perform regression testing and exploratory testing
• Contribute on the creation of specifications
• Create test scenarios and execute tests of embedded terminals and their connection to the printers
• Manually test frontend applications embedded in smart printer
• Create test scenarios and execute tests of print server backend

Qualifications

• Your technical knowledge entails Windows OS, server and virtualization technology basics, and a general knowledge of networks and network protocols
• ‍Do you know what TCP, UDP, Wireshark, Virtualbox and VMware stand for?
• IT background - orientation in SW, open to work with HW - especially with printers and MFPs
• Minimum secondary education in IT
• Previous experience in SW testing is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of Jira and Postman is an advantage
• Fluent English for communication with an international team
• Ability to learn quickly, orientation to detail, and analytical thinking
• You are willing to learn new things, help others and you are reliable
